Shortest Phone Conversation Ever

Him: Hi, I’m on an ambulance, can I call you back?
Me: Sure, anytime.
Him: Bye!

Note: Don’t be alarmed; he’s an EMT. Notice the use of “on” instead of “in.” Prepositions, as always, are key.

Also, overheard in the elevator yesterday:

Man on cell phone: You know how our house is set back from the street, up the drive? Well, not to get into too gross a subject, but–

But WHAT?
